When buying property abroad, you do need to have an agent that you can trust. Chris Pollard was introduced to us by a mutual friend, and we liked and trusted him immediately. Chris did not let us down.
In retrospect, we should have used Chris more, as he had to sort out problems that we had created for ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he was patient and re-assuring throughout.
We would recommend Ecoline to anyone wanting to buy property in Turkey, particularly if, like us, you are virgin buyers.

We are very grateful to both Chris Pollard and Uz Cavusoglu of Ecoline Estates, through them we have obtained our dream overseas home in Koycegiz, Turkey.
From the email discussions of our criteria, Chris correctly discerned exactly our requirements, picking us up from our hotel and taking us to a beautiful area showing us land etc.,
They helped us to obtain what we though was beyond our means, being a beautiful brand new detached villa with pool.
From the outset buying the land, designing the villa, we had full input, choosing tiles and kitchen units amending the layout to our specifications etc.
We were emailed pictures of the building at various stages of progress, this was completed in May 2005. With great excitement we furnished this and spent our first holiday there in June 2005. Everything was as dreamed off.
Chris and Uz also helped us to open a bank account, obtain Turkish Tax Numbers and sort out the house and contents insurance. We found that the partnership of a British Agent and Turkish contacts worked very well to our advantage in that you have someone who understands our expectations and is familiar with Turkish bureaucracy. It is good to know that if we have any problems or questions even though our purchase is complete, we can phone Chris or Uz and they will do all that they can to help us.
Buying a property in another country you most definitely need people you can trust to act for you. We would recommend this company to any potential buyer in Turkey, in that they made everything straightforward and relatively worry free.

Having first met Chris when we bought our villa in Calis over two years ago we have been very pleased with the support we have received. Both Uz and Chris provided a first class service, both my husband and I really didn't know what to expect and was slightly nervous. They put our minds at rest from the very beginning. They had a very honest, friendly approach and showed us properties that suited our requirements and budget. They really looked after us and went out of their way to assist us. They dealt with the sale on our behalf and Uz spent the day driving us around to get things sorted. Even now, after the sale, we know if there is anything we need to ask they are always willing to help and nothing is too much trouble. It makes a refreshing change compared to UK estate agents.
We would have no hesitation recommending them to friends and family who are considering going to Turkey. Thanks Chris and Uz, you made it easy.

I just wanted to say how much Aydin and I enjoyed meeting you on Saturday and to thank you for all your help and introduction to Barry. What a nice guy. I'm wondering where his new home is in Stewkeley! My sister's kids go to school there.
We successfully met up with Uzeyir and found him very charming. What a beautiful jeep too!
Uzeyir kindly drove us around parts of Ciftlik and showed us some plots of land. He and Aydin had a good chat. I'm still not convinced about Ciftlik although Barry did a very good job trying to convince me. Uzeyir has invited us to look at the place he's renovating in Faralya and has assured us that the access road is much improved. If that is the case, Aydin and I are seriously considering Faralya as it really is a heavenly spot. And once I have a small car, I won't feel isolated.
